Well here we are, at a most odd time in recent human history. Mankind is dealing with a global pandemic that seems to be getting worse as the days go by. In the United States, many individual states have ordered their residents to stay indoors, and to only go outside for essentials. California is one of those states. And that means the players on San Francisco 49ers are being quarantined. As this current 49er squad is assembled with lots of colorful personalities, one is left to wonder what some of the players are up to during the quarantine. Let’s take a look at what some of them may be up to.
It’s no secret that wide receiver Dante Pettis is a fan of video games, as are many 49ers. His unique interest though is his love of felines, especially his two Bengal cats Mowgli and Bagheera. He has referred to them as his kids in the past.
Therefore, it’s not hard to see Pettis spending some quality time with the cats during this quarantine. But it is going to be more than just play with the cats using their typical toys. Pettis may just go all in and build them a kitty theme park to play in. Think Disneyland, but for cats. “It’s a Small World,” but with different feline species pictured!
Tight end George Kittle is a pro-wrestling aficionado and that might even be an understatement. Knowing that former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski gets to host WrestleMania 36 while he sits at home in quarantine is probably not sitting well with him.
Knowing Kittle’s competitive nature, he is splitting his time in quarantine practicing wrestling moves and doing mic work. He will be crafting his own pro-wrestling persona behind the scenes. Look for Kittle to come out of this quarantine with his own ring name. And along with that he’ll have some carefully rehearsed promos that will give The Rock a run for his money.
Offensive tackle Joe Staley will be spending his time in quarantine with his wife and two daughters. Staley is known for his amazing singing that has been captured everywhere from “The Joe Show” to his various carpool karaoke escapades with the 49ers’ team reporters. Based on that information, there is a great chance that he has his own karaoke system in his home.
Staley will most likely be keeping the whole family entertained with his amazing singing. Expect great classics to be sung such as "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, as well as “Around The World” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. But also remember he has daughters so also expect Disney songs, specifically those from “Frozen.”
