The 49ers’ bye week is over and depending on your league setup you have only two or three weeks before the playoffs start. Hopefully you have already secured a spot and if not, the 49ers have a great matchup to help you get into the playoffs as they will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If you have 49ers on your roster, fire them all up.

Nick Mullens

Someone asked me if they should play Lamar Jackson or Dak Prescott. No, play Nick Mullens. He put together a really great game, and a decent game before the 49ers went on their bye week and now he gets to play a team 27th against the quarterback. You couldn’t ask for a better matchup. Anyone with the nickname BDN needs to be in your lineup. START: Nick Mullens

The Wide Receivers

I expected more out of Marquise Goodwin two weeks ago, but I did say to temper expectations because Mullens was utilizing Pierre Garçon more against the Raiders. Goodwin is a good flex option with upside this week. The Bucs are even worse against the wide receivers than they are the quarterbacks; they are ranked 30th in the league versus WRs. Garçon is another flex option with some upside, though his was held out of practice on Monday so you will want to monitor that. Goodwin missed practice also but for personal reasons. FLEX: Marquise Goodwin and Pierre Garçon

Matt Breida

When the Wolverine is healthy he plays lights out. Right now, the Wolverine is healthy. Matt Breida was a RB1 against the Giants and just like the quarterback and wide receiver the Bucs can’t stop the running back either. Fire up Breida with confidence. START: Matt Breida

George Kittle

George Kittle is every week starter, period. He’s the fourth-best tight end in half-point scoring (half point per reception) and I wouldn’t be surprised if he makes it into the top three before the end of the fantasy season. I remember when Garoppolo was injured, people were not too worried about Kittle because of the Iowa connection with C.J. Beathard. Now that Mullens is the quarterback we have seen who his favorite target is: it’s Kittle. START: George Kittle

The Defense

I think the defense can be streamed this week. It doesn’t matter if Winston or Fitzmagic is the quarterback, they like to throw interceptions. Maybe the defense can finally start to turn around the turnover ratio with this game. STREAM: 49ers Defense.
