WR Victor Bolden Suspended First Four Games of the Season
Victor Bolden Jr. has been suspended by the NFL for the first four games of the season after the NFL found that he violated their Performance-Enhancing Drug Policy.
Victor, a receiver last year who made the 53 man roster for his ability to return kicks and give youth at the position, was already in jeopardy this year due to a crowded receiving corp. Kendrick Bourne and Bolden both secured their positions last year with some surprise to most. This year with Pierre Garcon returning and fully healthy, along with Dante Pettis and even the addition of Richie James, Bolden Jr. seemed to be the most likely receiver to lose out. Bolden Jr. has been suspended for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances.
