49ersHub Player of the Week: PS Game 2 vs. Broncos

August 22, 2017

The 49ersHub is proud to bring back the Player of the Week, where the fans select one player who demonstrated superior statistical achievements. Unfortunately, the 49ers didn't beat the Broncos this week, but this player still was able to make an impact on the field.

It was a tough selection, as the San Francisco 49ers took on the Denver Broncos for their first home preseason game.

The fan voting gave the 49ersHub Player of the Week award to S Eric Reid! This past week against the Broncos, Reid played in 23 snaps, adding six tackles and one assist. He was flying all over the field and looking like his Pro-Bowl self. The ex-LSU safety is a beneficiary of the new scheme and is able to make plays in space.

Stay tuned with the 49ersHub, as we will continue to announce #HubPOTW awards as the season rolls around. If you want your vote to count, make sure to follow us on Twitter @49ersHub and vote right after the game!
