It's just the first day of training camp on the field for the San Francisco 49ers and it seems like we have our second injury. We reported earlier that Jimmie Ward was placed on the PUP with a hamstring injury, but this time it's an offensive player.
Per Eric Branch, it seems that UDFA WR BJ Johnson left the field after falling mid-route. He could barely place weight on his left leg and didn't return.
The 6-foot-1 WR is from Georgia Southern and was the primary reason that WR KD Cannon was released from the team. During his senior season, he racked up nearly 600 yards.
Hopefully he's alright and returns to practice soon. Stick with the 49ers Hub for more updates!
