On NFL Network this morning, Mike Silver went on to report that he feels like Kirk Cousins will somehow end up as the quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers -- in 2017.

With no quarterbacks on the roster currently, it makes sense for the 49ers to go after Cousins, but what would be the cost of trading for him this season vs. getting him as a free agent next season?
Also, last year Cousins signed the Franchise Tag the next day, but it's been six days since he's been tagged and still hasn't signed it yet.
It'll be interesting to see what happens with Cousins in the coming days, most likely I think he doesn't come to SF till 2018, but we'll have to wait and find out.
