According to Vic Carucci of the The Buffalo News, if QB Tyrod Taylor were to become a free agent he would garner some interest from teams.
Those teams include the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers.
There have been conflicting reports on what the Bills will choose to do at the quarterback position. Reports have surfaced that they would choose QB Cardale Jones or go after someone in the draft.
According to Carucci, if Taylor doesn't pass a physical after his Hernia surgery, he will have an injury guarantee of $30 million, which would be an astronomical figure. Reports indicate that he'll be alright by the time of this physical though.
Taylor is coming off of a season in which he threw for nearly 3,200 yards with 17 touchdowns and six interceptions. At 27 years old, I'm not sure if he has what it takes to be a franchise quarterback, but he can certainly be a "bridge" for the 49ers at the right price!
What do y'all think of Taylor to the 49ers?
Our writer Evan Sowards sure seems to like it:
